Disegniamo il maggio - Contest for Illustrators

The Centre for Books and Reading, the autonomous institute of the Ministero della Cultura, and Romics launch the second edition of "Competition for the creation of the image of the national campaign for the promotion of reading The May of Books 2024: Disegniamo il Maggio - Contest for illustrators".

The May of Books is organized every year by the Center for Books and Reading with the involvement of local authorities, libraries, libraries, cultural associations, schools, festivals, publishers, as well as many public and private subjects that contribute to the flowering of reading moments everywhere, even in the most unusual places. The campaign includes, as usual, a vast program of events with creative and innovative initiatives that take place from April 23 (World Book Day) until May 31 (more info on www.ilmaggiodeilibri.cepell.it).

The Disegniamo il Maggio Contest is aimed at all illustrators and designers who love reading and want to meet their pencil with the world of literature, creating the illustration that will be the protagonist of the promotion campaign of Il Maggio dei Libri 2024.
The invitation to illustrators is to be inspired by the thematic strands of May to return the spirit of the campaign and interpret it better.
