Giorgio Vanni: the voice of cartoons at Romics XXXII!

Giorgio Vanni is much more than a singer and musician: he is the soul of the cartoon themes that have marked the childhood and adolescence of entire generations since the 1990s.

In the 1980s, Vanni co-founded the band Tomato, which performed throughout Italy and recorded singles and an album with producers such as Angelo Carrara, Roberto Colombo and Mauro Paoluzzi.

In 1992, he took the band to the Sanremo Festival with the song "Sai cosa sento per te", one of his compositions .

But it is in the following years that Vanni consolidates his fame, collaborating with Max Longhi and producing songs for internationally renowned artists such as Laura Pausini, Ricardo Montaner and Mietta, as well as creating the unforgettable themes of anime loved as Pokémon, Dragon Ball, Detective Conan and One Piece.

Today, together with Longhi, Vanni brings his creations from the screen to the scene, with live shows that bring to life the most beloved cartoon themes. Not only that, it is still active in the advertising world, with its voice that characterizes famous commercials such as those of the Hot Wheels cars.

But Vanni’s art doesn’t stop there. He collaborates with young talents like Daniele Tek Cuccione and produces a wide range of new productions, collaborating with emerging artists and well-known youtubers. In 2019, he released the album "Toon Tunz", a collection of themes and songs still unpublished.

In 2022, the long-awaited album "The Gold Session" is released, an unplugged experience that brings back the cartoon themes in a golden guise, with refined arrangements and featuring special names like Angelo Maggi and Andrea Innesto.

But the real essence of Giorgio Vanni lies in his passion for live music and his dedication to the creation of original songs. He continues to bring his music all over Italy, always remaining linked to the world of acronyms that has made him an icon for generations.
