Riccardo Zara

Riccardo Zara, born 1946, is an Italian singer, musician, composer and lyricist of light music and dance. Singer and bandleader of the band I Cavalieri del Re, specialized in cartoon TV themes.
He recorded his first television theme song for Cetra in 1977: Rin tintin, the theme song of the eponymous TV show. The single also contained an instrumental version of the song. Among his main successes include the theme song Woobinda, the homonymous television series Woobinda, and recorded with the choir of The Green Apples by Mitzi Amoroso, as well as all the themes and songs made with the group he founded: "The Knights of the King", among which are songs such as "The Tiger Man" and "Lady Oscar". For the cinema he edited the soundtrack of the film Dracula - Vampirus in fabula by Flavio Sala in 2001, and the soundtrack of the film degenera 2003, directed by Tobia Botta.
